iCircuit is an exceptional iPad and iPhone app designed for circuit and Arduino experimentation and design. With its advanced simulation engine capable of handling analog and digital circuits, and offering real-time analysis, iCircuit is an invaluable tool for students, hobbyists, and engineers.

Using iCircuit is as intuitive as any CAD program: simply add elements, connect them, and set their properties. However, what sets iCircuit apart from other CAD programs is its continuous simulation feature. It allows you to work with the circuit in real-time, much like working with a physical circuit. There's no need to stop and measure or spend excessive time configuring reports. Instead, you can effortlessly interact with the circuit, keeping the power on!

The app boasts an extensive library of over 300 elements that enable you to build your circuits with versatility. From programmable Arduinos and resistors to MOSFETs and digital gates, iCircuit provides a wide range of components to suit your needs.

One of the standout features of the app is its integrated multimeter. It allows you to probe the circuit and instantly read voltages and currents. Additionally, if you want to analyze how a value evolves over time, iCircuit offers a built-in oscilloscope. The oscilloscope can track multiple signals simultaneously over time, featuring an intuitive touch interface for controlling display options such as total time displayed and stacked/unstacked modes. Moreover, the scope also includes a Fourier transform feature that visualizes the performance of filters.

The app supports a comprehensive array of elements that include programmable Arduinos using a subset of the C programming language, programmable PIC controllers using assembly language or hex files, various signal generators, resistors, capacitors, inductors, switches, diodes, transistors, motors, ADCs/DACs, logic gates, flip-flops, digital ICs, voltage regulators, 7-segment displays, matrix displays, and simulated AM and FM antennas.

To enhance your designs further, iCircuit allows you to create sub circuits and introduce new elements to componentize your projects.

Regardless of your skill level, iCircuit ensures that you can start experimenting with circuits confidently in no time.
